Ingredients (serves 2–3):
1 ear of corn
1.5 cups (go) of rice
1 tablespoon sake
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cans yakitori (sauce flavor)
Instructions
① Peel the corn and cut it in half. Slice the kernels off the cob with a knife and set the cob aside.
② Place the washed rice in the rice cooker pot and add water up to the 1.5-cup mark. Add the sake and salt, then mix lightly.
③ Add the corn kernels and the canned yakitori (including the sauce), place the corn cob in the center, and start cooking.
*Please use the "mixed rice" (takikomi) setting or a rice cooker with a cooking function.
④ Once cooked, remove the cob, mix everything together gently, and it's ready! Top with chopped green onions if desired, and enjoy!
