Steamed Chicken and Wakame Seaweed Namul

 


Ingredients】(Serves 2–3)


・Chicken tenderloins (tendons removed) … 2 pieces (approx. 100g)


・Dried cut wakame seaweed … 1 tbsp (approx. 2g)


・Sake … 1 tbsp


・Salt … A pinch


・White sesame seeds … 1 tsp


・Sesame oil … 2 tsp


【Instructions】


1. Rehydrate the cut wakame in water, then drain well.


2. Make 4–5 diagonal cuts in the chicken tenderloins. Arrange them on a heat-resistant plate (approx. 15cm in diameter), sprinkle with the sake and a pinch of salt, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Remove from the microwave, loosen the edges of the wrap, and let cool slightly.


3. Shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces and mix with the wakame from step [1], the white sesame seeds, and the sesame oil.
