Ingredients (serves 2):
2 cucumbers
[A] 1 tsp grated garlic
[A] 1 tsp consommé granules
[A] 1 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp cake flour
2 tbsp potato starch
3 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
① Trim off the ends of the cucumbers, cut them in half crosswise, and then cut each piece lengthwise into quarters.
② Place the cucumbers from step ① and ingredients [A] into a plastic bag and mix well to coat evenly.
③ Add the cake flour and potato starch to the bag and coat the cucumbers thoroughly.
Point | If the coating seems insufficient, gradually add equal amounts of cake flour and potato starch.
④ Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat and arrange the coated cucumbers in the pan. Pan-fry them, turning occasionally, until crispy—and they're ready!
