Spread raw ground meat onto a slice of bread.

 



Ingredients (for 1 slice):

・Ground meat mix (beef & pork): approx. 100g


A Sugar, soy sauce: approx. 1/2 tsp each


A Salt, pepper: a pinch of each


A Sake: approx. 1 tbsp


A Garlic paste, ginger paste: approx. 1cm squeeze of each


・Sliced ​​bread (I use the "6-slice" thickness): 1 slice


Instructions:

① Add ingredients A to the ground meat and mix/knead thoroughly.


② Score the bread with two vertical and two horizontal cuts, then spread the meat mixture (from step ①) over it, pressing it into the indentations.


③ Heat oil (not listed in ingredients) in a frying pan and place the bread in with the meat side facing down. Cook over low-to-medium heat until browned; once the meat changes color, flip it over and cook the other side.


★ When cooking the meat side, take your time and cook it thoroughly until the ground meat has completely changed color. Conversely, it tends to burn quickly after flipping, so keep a close eye on it.
