     Nutmeg can cure mouth ulcers!

Ayurveda has a long tradition of using nutmeg to treat digestive problems, depression, and anxiety. It is even recommended to apply nutmeg oil to relieve pain.

A research paper published in the journal 'Researchgate' published in 2023 states that nutmeg works great in healing any kind of sores and wounds inside the mouth. How? On the one hand, the anti-inflammatory properties of nutmeg control inflammatory problems inside the mouth, on the other hand, the antimicrobial properties of this spice can prevent the growth of bacteria and fungi inside the mouth.

Now the question may come to mind, can nutmeg remove bad breath from teeth, gums or mouth? In Ayurveda, the answer is positive. Nutmeg will cure not only mouth sores, but also any problem with teeth and gums. You don't need mouthwash to remove bad breath. Just a pinch of nutmeg will do the job.

 How to use it?

You can gargle by mixing a pinch of nutmeg powder in a glass of lukewarm water.

If you have a sore on your lips or inside the mouth, you can apply nutmeg powder directly to the sore.

]Gargling with nutmeg mixed water after meals and before going to bed at night will also keep your teeth healthy. Your mouth will not smell bad.
