Stir-fried squid with soy sauce

[Ingredients for 2 servings]

- 1 squid pie

- 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce

- 1/2 tablespoon salad oil

- 2 tablespoons chopped green onion

- A little Japanese pepper powder

[Preparation]

- Pull the squid's body and legs together with your fingers to separate them, then grasp the legs and pull them out of the body. Rinse the body with water to remove the cartilage. Cut the legs off near the eyes, remove the beak, and trim the tips of the legs evenly. Scrape off the suckers with a knife and cut each into two pieces. Cut the body into thirds lengthwise, score diagonally, and slice into thin strips.

[Directions]

1. Add salad oil to a frying pan over high heat and fry the squid until it turns opalescent. Add the soy sauce and continue frying.
2. Place on a serving dish and sprinkle with chopped green onions and powdered Japanese pepper.
