Corn and walnut salad

 

Ingredients (Serves 4)


- 1 ear of raw corn


- 40-50g walnuts


- 20g butter


- A pinch of salt and pepper


- 1 pack of baby greens


- 1/4 head of lettuce


- Dressing (store-bought) to taste


Preparation


- Using a knife, remove the kernels from the raw corn.

- Roughly chop the walnuts.


- Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces with your hands, place in water, and drain in a colander. Drain thoroughly and combine with the baby leaves.

1. Dry-roast the walnuts in a frying pan, being careful not to burn them. Add butter and once the butter has melted, add the corn, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry.

2. Place the lettuce in a serving dish and top with (1). Drizzle with your favorite dressing.
