You will never know the truth,

According to the manuscript, eighty percent of the male population of that time lost their lives in the 18-day war of the Mahabharata.

After the war, Sanjay went to the place in Kurukshetra where the war took place.

Standing on the land of Kurukshetra, he wondered if the soil where he was standing had really absorbed the blood of the mighty Pandavas and Kauravas. While this thought was prevailing in his mind, a trembling voice, the soft voice of an old man rang in his ears. He heard,

"You will never know the truth, son......."

While turning around, Sanjay saw an old man dressed in saffron clothes rising from the pillar of dust.

I know, son, you want to know about the Kurukshetra war, but you will not understand it until you understand what war is in reality. The old man said with a gentle smile.

What does that mean..?

Mahabharata is just an example, an epic, maybe reality, maybe philosophy.

He looked at old Sanjay with a soft smile. His goal was probably to provoke more questions in his mind.

If you please tell me what that philosophy is..?

Sanjay requested.

Of course, the old man began by saying this..........

The five Pandavas are nothing but our five senses. Sight, smell, taste, touch and sound.

And do you know what the Kauravas are..........?

The old man asked with narrowed eyes.

The Kauravas are our hundred faults who are attacking our five senses every day, every moment. Did you ever know............?

Sanjay shook his head again.

When Sri Krishna becomes the charioteer of your chariot, then.... .

The old man smiled brightly and Sanjay looked at the old man with surprised eyes, having gained this inner knowledge.

Shri Krishna is your inner voice, your soul, your guiding light and if you surrender yourself to Him, you will be free from worries in life.

Sanjay looked at the old man like a fool, but soon regained his composure and asked the next question,

Then why did Dronacharya, Bhishma's grandfather fight for the Kauravas, if the Kauravas were guilty.....?

Slowly moving his head, the old man said..........

This means that when you grow up, your perception of older people starts changing. The older people who you thought were right in your childhood, you realize as you grow up, are not that right. They too have their faults. And one day comes when you have to decide whether their company is good for you or bad. Then you may also realize that fighting with them is good for you. This is the most difficult part of growing up and that is why it is necessary to know the essence of the Gita.

Speechless, Sanjay fell on his knees on the ground. This is not because these words were tiring to him, but rather he was overwhelmed by the excess of this vision.

Then what will you tell Karna...........?

Ah, you have asked the best question last of all. Karna is the brother of your senses. He is desire. He is a part of you but he keeps company with the guilty. Although he feels pain in his heart by keeping company with the guilty, he gives various arguments to prove himself right, just as your desire is always giving you arguments. Doesn't your desire always try to deceive you with false arguments..............?

Sanjay shook his head silently.

He looked at Kurubhumi with one glance. Millions of thoughts were racing through his mind. He tried to arrange each word and create harmony. When he raised his head a moment later, the old man had departed. He had disappeared again into a pillar of dust.

Leaving behind, a glimpse of life.........
