Rolled rice ball

 

Ingredients

Warm rice...330g (1 cup)


Nori seaweed (halved)...3 sheets


Rape blossoms or komatsuna...1 stalk (approx. 30g)


Frozen fried chicken...5 pieces


A. Egg...1


Mayonnaise, sugar...1 teaspoon each


[Directions]

1. Heat the frozen fried chicken according to the package instructions and cut each in half.


2. Wrap the rape blossoms in plastic wrap and microwave for about 30 seconds. Once cooled, chop them finely and squeeze out the excess water. Place A in a heat-resistant container, mix well, and microwave for about 1 minute. Remove and loosen well with chopsticks to resemble scrambled eggs.


3. Mix 2. into the warm rice and divide into 3 equal portions.


4. Place the nori seaweed lengthwise and spread 3. on top, leaving about 2cm of space between them. Place 1. slightly below the center of the rice and roll from the front. Place the end of the roll face down and let it sit for a while, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
