Ingredients
6-8 frozen shrimp
150g taro
1-2 garlic cloves
1/2 lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons olive oil
Parsley (optional) to taste
Directions
1. Peel the taro, slice it thinly, rinse, and pat dry with kitchen paper.
2. Thaw the shrimp if frozen, or peel and devein if fresh (you can leave the tails on).
3. Thinly slice the garlic and cut the lemon into rings and then into bite-sized pieces.
4. Coat the taro and shrimp in flour.
5. Add olive oil and garlic to a frying pan and heat.
6. Once the garlic is fragrant, add the taro and brown on both sides.
7. Once the taro is cooked, add the shrimp and stir-fry until they change color.
8. Season with salt and pepper, add the lemon and stir-fry lightly.
9. Sprinkle with parsley, garnish and serve.
