Ingredients (Serves 2)
150g beef trimmings
[A]
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
¼ clove garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
⅓ carrots
½ bunch chives
2 teaspoons sesame oil
½ bag bean sprouts
Salt and pepper
2 bags boiled soba noodles
1½ teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon toasted white sesame seeds
Directions
❶ Add [A] to the beef and mix. Julienne the carrots and cut the chives into 3cm lengths.
❷ Heat a frying pan over medium heat, add sesame oil, and sauté the carrots and bean sprouts. Add the chives and sauté, seasoning with salt and pepper, then remove from the frying pan. Add the beef to the same pan and cook, breaking it up as you go.
❸ Boil the soba noodles, rinse, and drain thoroughly.
❹ Mix the vegetables from ③ and ②, the beef, and soy sauce. Serve in a bowl and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
