Have you heard the name ‘Karphasa’? It is a kind of sitting posture. Our beloved Prophet (PBUH) often ate dates in this posture. So it is also Sunnah. In Bengali, what we call ‘Bangasana’—the posture of daily wage workers sitting on the roadside, or the posture of women cutting and sorting their hair—is this posture.
Bangasana is actually a yoga posture. And this posture is very beneficial for the body, especially for those who have leg problems. Because the weight of the body is on the ankles, the thighs will touch the leg muscles, but the buttocks will not touch the ground. There will be a comfortable gap between the two legs.
What are the benefits?
Sitting in Bangasana for 40-60 minutes every day will keep your legs strong, and you won't need a stick even in 100 years
Increases blood circulation in the kidneys and spine
No problem holding urine
Easy for girls to give birth naturally
Helps prevent displacement of the uterus or pelvic organs
Eliminates constipation
Very effective in losing belly fat
How to use your time?
Eating, reading, watching TV, even working on a laptop—if you do everything while sitting in Bangasana, then three things are done at once:
1. You work,
2. You exercise,
3. And you perform circumcision!
However, there is one "but":
If there is a doctor's prohibition, then you cannot do it. And if you don't sit like this for a long time, then start with 1-2 minutes first, then gradually increase the time.
