[Ingredients for 2 people]
- 1 chicken breast
- 4 shiso leaves
- Appropriate amount of frying oil
- 4-6 lettuce leaves
- 4-6 cherry tomatoes
- Appropriate amount of tonkatsu sauce
<Mustard mayo>
- 1.5-2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard paste
<Batter>
- 1-1.5 tablespoons flour
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
[Preparation]
- Cut the chicken breast in half, place it between plastic wrap and pound with a meat pounder until it becomes thin (about twice its size).
- Cut off the stems of the shiso leaves.
- Mix the ingredients for <Mustard mayo>.
- Start preheating the frying oil to 170℃.
[How to make]
1. Spread <mustard mayonnaise> on pounded chicken breast, place shiso leaves on top, fold in half, and press firmly to prevent separation.
2. Lightly coat the entire surface with flour for the <batter>, dip in beaten egg, coat with breadcrumbs and press again. Deep fry in 170℃ oil until crispy, then drain. Place on a plate with lettuce and garnish with cherry tomatoes and tonkatsu sauce.
