"As long as you think that killing Jews is justified, there is no solution to the Palestinian problem. Because if you can think that killing Jews is justified, why can't Jews think that killing Muslims is justified? War is not a matter of philosophical debate. Moral and literary aesthetics are impermanent there. War basically follows the principle of reciprocity. Plain reciprocity. Murder for murder. Bomb for bomb. Hate for hate. Attack for attack. The new addition is preemptive self-defense. If I fear that you will harm me in the future, then I will destroy you in the present tense. This is the preemptive right to self-defense.
So first we have to stop the practice of hate. The lethal demonstration of cultural war is the battlefield war. Many of you enjoy cultural war on Facebook with all your heart. You are also part of that war. Take it. But I am afraid of cultural war. I am very afraid. Because cultural war is the mental preparation for genocide. It is not just a war of words with words, or ideas with ideas. Without cultural war, real war cannot be organized. Look at World War II. It is basically the product of the Franco-German cultural war.
The wars that I have seen in my lifetime, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Palestine, each of them seems to be the product of cultural war. And I am terrified that in Bangladesh and India, an identical cultural war is going on, which may take the form of a bloody real war in the future. In that case, the outcome of Bangladesh will be like Palestine. I will call for increasing the cultivation of love at any cost. Cultural war is not a good thing. It is a very bad thing. To kill an opponent, a threshold amount of anger and hatred is needed, which comes from cultural war. Almost all of the Facebook and YouTube activists in Bangladesh at this moment are cultural war leaders. And they are preparing the ground where one side will kill the other. Stay away from Facebook activists."
