Pineapple peel tea

How to make

Peel the pineapple and wash it in water. Even if you soak it in water for a while, the dirt and grime will go away.

Boil one pineapple peel in four cups of water. Add one inch of grated ginger.

Reduce the heat and let the mixture boil for 15-20 minutes, cover it, and then strain it.

Keep it in the refrigerator or, when it comes to room temperature, add lime juice and crushed ice to it and eat it.
However, once a day is enough.

Why drink pineapple peel tea?

1. Pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain. A report published in the journal ‘Chemistry and Biodiversity’ in 2004 says that pineapple peel contains 0.23 percent bromelain. This enzyme helps reduce inflammation and swelling. This ingredient is effective in reducing the pain of osteoarthritis to some extent.

2. Bromelain helps in digestion. It is a proteolytic enzyme. This ingredient helps in eliminating flatulence and indigestion. Nutritionist Fiona says, “Sipping pineapple peel tea will reduce digestive problems.”

3. Pineapple contains vitamin C. Some of that vitamin is found in pineapple peel. This vitamin helps in preventing diseases. As a result, the body will remain healthy due to the quality of this tea.

4. Ascorbic acid present in pineapple peel helps in collagen synthesis. Collagen helps in keeping the skin firm and smooth.

5. This low-calorie yet enzyme-rich drink not only aids in digestion but also helps in weight loss.
