Chicken thighs simmered in teriyaki garlic soy sauce

 


Ingredients:

1 chicken thigh (250-300g)

2 cloves of garlic

[A] 3 tablespoons of soy sauce

[A] 2 tablespoons of sake

[A] 2 tablespoons of mirin

[A] 1 tablespoon of vinegar

[A] 1 tablespoon of sugar


How to make:

① Poke holes in the skin of the chicken thigh with a fork and remove excess fat and tendons. Crush the garlic with the flat side of a knife.

② Add [A] to a frying pan and mix. Place the chicken thigh from ① skin side down and add the garlic.

③ Bring ② to a boil over medium heat, cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Turn over and simmer for 5 minutes, then it's done!
