Italian tomato hotpot with plenty of vegetables

 


Ingredients (Serves 2)


200g canned tomatoes (in a can)


1/2 onion


1 clove garlic (thinly sliced)


6 sausages


6-8 scallops (adducal muscles)


1/2 stalk broccoli


1/2 lettuce


1/2 pack fresh basil


Salt and pepper (a pinch)


Grated cheese (to taste)


Tabasco sauce (to taste)


1/2 lemon


2 tablespoons olive oil


Soup


500ml water


2 teaspoons soup stock powder


1 teaspoon sugar


Preparation


Roughly chop the tomatoes.

- Cut the onion into wedges.


- Divide the broccoli into small florets.


- Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces with your hands.


- Cut the lemon into wedges.


[Directions]


1. Heat olive oil in a pot and sauté the onion and garlic. Once the onion is soft, add the canned tomatoes and the soup ingredients. Once boiling, season with salt and pepper.

2. Add the sausage, scallops, broccoli, lettuce, and basil to (1) and set aside. Serve with grated cheese, Tabasco sauce, and a squeeze of lemon juice to taste.
