Ingredients
Potatoes: 500g
Milk: 150ml
Beef trimmings: 100g
Onion: 100g
A [Oyster sauce: 2 tablespoons
Salt and pepper]: appropriate amount
B [Eggs: 2
Milk: 100ml
Flour]: 100g
Fresh breadcrumbs: appropriate amount
Frying oil: appropriate amount
Wash the potatoes and put them in a pot and pour in enough water to cover them.
Chop the beef into 1cm pieces and the onion into coarse pieces.
Put B in a bowl and mix well to make a batter.
Spread the breadcrumbs on a tray or something.
How to make
1. Place the pot with the potatoes on medium heat and boil for about 25 minutes, then boil until a bamboo skewer can be inserted easily. Peel the potatoes while they are still hot, place them in a frying pan, mash them with a spatula, and fry over medium heat to remove moisture.
2. Add milk and mix until it becomes like mashed potatoes, then remove from the frying pan and let cool.
3. Wipe out the frying pan and fry the beef until the fat oozes out. Add the onions and when they are soft, add A and stir fry.
4. Turn off the heat, add the potatoes and mix roughly, then divide into 8 equal parts and roll them into balls. Shape them into 1cm ovals, place them on a spatula, dip them in the batter in B, and coat with breadcrumbs. Coat lightly without pressing.
5. Heat the frying oil in a pan to 180°C, add 4 and fry for 6 minutes without touching until golden brown and done.
