[Ingredients]

2 potatoes

1 onion

1/2 carrot

4 wieners

1 tablespoon olives

Salt and pepper to taste

300ml water

1 consommé

A [300ml soy milk, 1 tablespoon white miso, salt to taste]

[How to make]

(1) Cut the onion into wedges. Heat olive oil in a pan, add the onion, add salt and pepper, and fry until soft.

(2) Peel the potatoes and cut them into halves or quarters. If you are using new potatoes, you can use them with the skin on. If you are concerned about the skin, you can rub it with rolled up aluminum foil to peel it off thinly.

(3) Cut the carrots into bite-sized pieces, and cut the wiener sausages diagonally in half or as is, depending on your preference.

(4) Put the potatoes, carrots, water, and consommé in a pan. Cover and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes until the ingredients are soft. If it starts to boil, reduce the heat halfway through.

(5) When the potatoes are soft enough to easily pierce with a skewer, remove the lid, add the soy milk, and heat over low heat. Be careful not to boil the mixture, as it will separate if it boils. Once it's warm, turn off the heat, dissolve the white miso, and add salt to taste.

Sprinkle with black pepper to taste and enjoy.
