Does polygamy destroy our mental peace?

Does polygamy destroy our mental peace?

Before giving this answer, you need to learn a pinch of biology.

Count it, how many cells are there in your body? No need to count, I'm saying - 37 trillion human cells. But there are 39 trillion bacteria or microbes in your body!! So it can be said that in our own body, body cells and microbes are in a 1:1 ratio.

Are you happy to think that your weight is actually half your body weight? That hope is empty. Because, human cells are much larger and heavier than those microbial cells in size and weight. The total weight of those 39 trillion may be one and a half to two kilograms. The rest of the weight is yours 😬

No, you are in heaven with honesty! This is also true here to a large extent. The character of these 39 trillion microorganisms affects your character and thinking. In scientific terms, this is called - Gut Brain Axis.

That is, if you have wild, noble, rich and noble bacteria in your body, then your thinking and consciousness will improve. On the other hand, if you have low-class and other types of microbes in your body, you will also be a little bit more difficult.

Oh, I'm not saying this, research says 😷

1) Normal gut flora was absent in the intestines of suicidal patients.

(Nature Microbiology, 2020)

2) Depression decreased after eating probiotic foods (human trial, 2016).

3) Transplant study in mice (2011):

The microbiome of a very brave and agile species of mice was given to a timid and unfriendly mouse.

After the transplant, the timid mouse became brave.

So can it be said that if these microbes change, our minds will change? Yes, of course.

Based on this formula, it can also be thought that if bacteria are taken from the bodies of healthy and mentally healthy people, cultured and given to mentally ill people, some positive results should be obtained.

Yes, scientists have also come up with such an idea. It is called Fecal Microbiota Transplantation or FMT. A lot of research is being done on this, and in some cases positive results have also been obtained.

Based on what I know so far, it can be said that the microbes in our bodies have a contribution to our minds. So if the type of microbes changes, our character and thoughts will also change! Yes. The point is, how do these microorganisms change? Very naturally through physical touch. When you touch someone, their skin and the microorganisms on your skin also meet and cuddle with each other. However, two people come into the most profound touch, through sex. There, direct contact and fluid transfer of skin, oral and genital areas directly give bacteria the opportunity to migrate and in large numbers.

Therefore, it can be said that having a relationship with each different person is not only your temporary pleasure, but also a permanent exchange of mind and character. That is why monogamous couples, if they stay in the same relationship for a long time, their thoughts and characters are similar.

Now if someone is polygamous, different microbes with different thoughts and characters will come into his body and naturally it destroys the mental state. This has also been proven in research.

More references like these show that our physical relationships have lasting effects and changes on our bodies and minds. Now, a person who changes the type of neurotransmitter and hormonal flow in the body every two days will naturally be restless. And one who stays in the same type of flow for a long time will be stable.

You will notice that a polygamous person will never be able to have a stable and calm character or mood. He can act but cannot maintain stability.

So if you want mental stability, you have to be monogamous.

(Is that why there is a thing about avoiding even touching in Sanatan Dharma?! Maybe so. Although time and ignorance made it a manifestation of ego practice.)
