Bitter melon fried rice

 


[Ingredients for 4 people]


・1/2 to 1 bitter melon


・1/4 carrot


・120 to 150g meat (thinly sliced)


・4 to 5 bowls of rice (freshly cooked)


・2 eggs


・2 teaspoons soy sauce


・5g bonito flakes


・2 tablespoons salad oil


<Seasonings>


・1 tablespoon granulated chicken soup base


・3 tablespoons sake


・1 teaspoon salt


[Preparation]


・Cut the bitter melon in half lengthwise, remove the seeds and pulp with a spoon, and cut into 5mm cubes.


・Peel the carrot and chop finely.


・Cut the pork to 3cm lengths.


・Crack and beat the egg and mix with the rice.


[How to make]


1. Heat 1 tablespoon of salad oil in a wok and fry the meat. When the meat changes color, add the bitter melon and carrots and stir fry, then add the seasonings and stir fry, then remove from the wok.


2. Heat the wok, add the remaining salad oil, and turn the heat to high. Add the mixed rice and stir fry until it becomes crumbly, then add back (1).


3. Finally, add soy sauce around the edge of the wok and mix well, then add the bonito flakes and mix, then serve on a plate.
