[Ingredients for 2 people]
- 1 stalk of corn (raw)
- 2 potatoes
- 20g butter
- 2-3 tablespoons of cream
- A little salt and pepper
- Oil for frying, to taste
- 2-4 lettuce leaves
- 2-4 cherry tomatoes
- Worcestershire sauce, to taste
<Batter>
- 1/2-1 tablespoon of flour
- 1/2 beaten egg
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
[Preparation]
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into 6-8 pieces, place in water and drain.
- Peel the corn, wrap it in plastic wrap, and microwave for 2-3 minutes. Once cooled, scrape off the kernels with a knife. (Hint) Use a 600W microwave.
- Start preheating the frying oil to 170℃.
【How to make】
1. Put the potatoes in a pot with plenty of water and boil until soft. Drain the water and mash with a masher until smooth. Add the butter and cream and mix, then season with salt and pepper.
2. Add the corn and mix, then shape into the desired size, and for the <batter>, coat with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs, in that order.
3. Put (2) in 170℃ oil and deep fry until golden and crispy. Place the potatoes in a bowl with lettuce and cherry tomatoes, and garnish with Worcestershire sauce.
