Bacon and cheese pepper potato mochi

 


Ingredients (Serves 2):

2 potatoes


[A] 2 tablespoons milk


[A] 2 tablespoons potato starch


[A] 1/2 teaspoon consommé soup base


[A] 1/3 teaspoon salt


[A] Black pepper, to taste


2 slices half bacon (cut into 1cm pieces)


1 slice pizza cheese


5 tablespoons vegetable oil


Directions:

1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Place them in a heat-resistant bowl and microwave at 600W for 5 minutes. Mash them with a fork while they're still hot, then add [A] and mix (be careful not to burn yourself).


2. Divide [A] into 4 equal parts, toast the half bacon until crispy in the toaster, and place the pizza cheese inside. Roll them into balls.


3. Add vegetable oil to a frying pan over medium heat, arrange [B] on top, and fry until golden brown on both sides. Done!
