Crisp and delicious lightly pickled broccoli

 


Ingredients (Serves 2):

1 stalk of broccoli


[A] 2 tablespoons of mentsuyu (3x concentrated)


[A] 1 tablespoon of water


[A] 1 teaspoon of sesame oil


[A] Sliced ​​chili peppers, as needed (This recipe uses 1/2 teaspoon)


Directions:

1. Cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Peel the stems thickly and slice them into thin rings.


2. Place [A] into a heat-resistant bowl and loosely cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at 600W for 3-3.5 minutes, stopping when the mixture is still slightly firm.


3. While still hot, add [A] to [B], mix thoroughly, and allow to cool. Once cooled, place the broccoli on the surface, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about 10 minutes. Serving is ready!
