Antithesis: Part Two

Even though the conversation with the girl did not progress further, the thought continued in my head. The touch of her hand on my shoulder and then the beauty of her hand kept me spellbound. I felt that her hand was so beautiful that it was a cosmic miracle. The hair on the back of her hand was also so soft, from the arrangement of that hair to the lines of the skin, the smooth curve of her fingers, the shape of her nails, the softness of her palm, the lines of the palm, the folds of her fingers, the soft curves between them - the whole thing was like a delicate work of art. The movement of that hand, the posture of that hand, the way she moved her hand, placed her hand somewhere, pointed something with her hand, gently held something, pointed something, all of them were like the rhythm of a love poem.

Moving past that hand, to her arms, shoulders, neck, limbs, and feet - moving towards her entire body, I see the same beauty, the same wonder, and the same awe, the same poetry. Yet, piercing through the skin of her body, her flesh, muscles, bones, heart, lungs, spleen, small intestine, and large intestine, everything is just like mine, there is no difference. Not only that, there is no difference between one person and another except for size. In the operating theater for organ transplantation, looking at the organ placed on the tray in the surgeon's hand, one cannot tell whether it is a woman's or a man's, or a beloved's or a worst enemy's - because they all look the same. That means that her beauty, which has overwhelmed me, is the external somatic beauty, the way of seeing, the way of hearing, the way of feeling. She was not specially made as a woman, her predecessors in the lineage have been selected as women by the emotions of human feeling. Somatic beauty has therefore been improved generation after generation, becoming more attractive and captivating.

This attraction of men towards women has been given a very high value in the theology of the Vedas Upanishads. The love and union of men and women is the center there, love is the goal. However, women are called the devil's inviter and the center of sin and are told not to be seduced by the form of women in the Abrahamic religions. Surprisingly, Brahma is neither a woman nor a man, although the Abrahamic God created men in his own image, yet the beauty of women is negative there.

But all these are according to religious myths. Where and how these ideas first came to people's minds is there any historical, anthropological or scientific information source? Although many modern Hindu religious people deny it, the Brahman of the Vedas Upanishads, the ultimate knowledge entity, comes from the concept of "Ahura Mazda" of the ancient Iranian religion Zoroastrianism, which means "Omniscient". This idea is also consistent with the history of the arrival of nomadic Aryans from Iran to India, who initiated the Vedic civilization, whose goal was ultimate knowledge.

The monotheism of the ultimate knowing being, such as Brahman of the Vedas or Ahura Mazda of Zoroastrianism, does not match Abrahamic monotheism. When Brahman of the Vedas indicates the goal of human life, he is called in one word "Sachchitananda" which means "Truth - Consciousness - Happiness". The simple meaning of which is that man should walk on the path of truth or knowledge, being aware and happy. The command of the Abrahamic God "Read, in the name of Allah", is given for reading religious scriptures, not for acquiring free knowledge. The one who gains Brahman knowledge about the universe in the Vedas is called Brahmin. His counterpart is Kripan - which means one who has no knowledge.

However, those who are knowledgeable about the Abrahamic religions, those rabbis, priests or imams, are the opposite of those who deny God. Such as those who are loyal to Satan or those who disregard God's laws. That is, here it is important to acknowledge God and know and obey God's laws, not to acquire omniscience or knowledge about the universe like the Vedas Upanishads or Zoroastrianism. In Arabic, the word Islam means "to be loyal" or "to surrender" (to Allah).

If we consider all these things, we see that the root of the Abrahamic religions is not actually a philosophy, it is a philosophy. The Brahman of the Vedas Upanishads or the Ahura Mazda of Zoroastrianism is an abstract form, the truth of the bliss of consciousness, happiness in consciousness and happiness, without happiness, people lose the ability to understand truth and consciousness. It can be seen that as a result, wealth accumulation, consumption-based lifestyle, especially urban luxury, increases. As a result, a special time or situation of injustice and oppression of the rich elite is created. Then people start worshiping idols, images and material reflections or incarnations of God. They abandon the truth of the bliss of consciousness and only chase after happiness. By nature, human character or human society starts traveling on the path of this narrow consumerist philosophy, and the Abrahamic religions are a reflection or contradiction of this.

Where is the root of this reflection or contradiction of the Abrahamic religions? Not all questions may be answered from within the scriptures or from religious myths. For this, we have to look for information obtained from ethnography, archaeology and modern technology and science-based analysis, as well as through a review of the history and social perspectives of religions.

Historically, many of the important events or places mentioned in the scriptures of the Abrahamic religions have archaeological evidence dating back to the middle of the second millennium BC. If we understand where they occurred, and the social, political, and psychological conditions of the people who lived in those places, we can begin to understand what the visions or contradictions that the Abrahamic religions are talking about are actually against.

The Abrahamic religions began with the spread of Judaism, which later evolved into Christianity. And with the same philosophy, the same creation, the same cosmology, and the same destiny, Islam was introduced towards the end of the first millennium AD. The basic principles of Judaism are recorded as mythical stories (history described in scripture) in the first five books of the Hebrew Bible, which are Genesis (creation), Exodus (group departure), Leviticus (religious laws), Numbers (population) and Deuteronomy (second principle).

These five books are collectively called the Torah, which was introduced by the Prophet Muhammad, just as our Quran was introduced by the Prophet Moses, and they were introduced by the same God through the Prophet Moses. The Quran states that the Prophet Muhammad is both a prophet and a messenger, just as the Prophet Moses is, that is, he is also the chosen person and messenger of God.

The five books introduced by the Prophet Moses describe the philosophy, myths and laws that are described in the three Abrahamic religions. The first of these, Genesis, contains the creation of the world by God, the creation of Adam and Eve, the life of Adam and Eve in Paradise, the eating of the passion fruit at the instigation of the serpent Satan, the expulsion from Paradise, the birth of Adam's sons and daughters, the relationship between them, the first murder of Adam's son by his lust for women, the great flood and the ark of the Prophet Noah, the appearance of the Prophet Abraham with the promise of the Jewish state, and the history of the sacrifice of Abraham's son. The second book, Exodus, contains the life of the Jews as slaves under the oppressive and unjust Egyptian kings in Egypt and the rebellion by a slave named Joshua and the departure of the group from the mission led by the Prophet Moses after liberation.

If we analyze the primary scriptures of the Abrahamic religions, we see that the thesis or topic at the center of the Abrahamic religions is described in Exodus. That is, the oppression and injustice of the rich, elite, and unjust ruling class over the poor and helpless. The rest of the scriptures are to justify that thesis. Abrahamic religions fundamentally carry the message of revolution and victory of the common people against the unjust oppression of the city-state ruling class. What they represent or contradict is clear in Exodus. That is, the reflection of people gaining unlimited power and a wealthy life as a result of being inconsiderate rich and inhumane rulers or guardians. If knowledge and wealth lead people to gaining unlimited power, then Abrahamic religions also reflect against knowledge and wealth.

In the story told in Exodus, workers and common people in Egypt were liberated from the oppressive Pharaohs under the leadership of the worker Joshua and Moses, who was raised in the Pharaoh's family, and left the richest city in the world at that time. Led by the Prophet Moses, they walked on foot through the desert towards God's 'Promised Land' that had been promised to the Prophet Abraham. Thus, when they reached Moab in present-day Jordan, Prophet Moses climbed to the top of Mount Nebo and saw the 'Promised Land', the province of Canaan. But he was forbidden to enter the Promised Land. There, Prophet Moses died. His followers, numbering six hundred thousand, then went to the province of Canaan and began to create a new country for the Jewish people.

They went there and lived in huts or slums in the desert of the Canaan province without building cities and they started to abandon everything that they saw in the rich, elite society. They started to live without the charm of huts and huts and avoided all kinds of civil and rich society culture, consumption, material and culture. According to the rules of the Abrahamic Promised Land, the inhabitants of the Canaan province would be deprived of all excesses in this worldly life who would receive everything in their afterlife or heavenly life.

The description of the Exodus described above is according to the history described in the Abrahamic myths or religious scriptures. From the analysis of newly found archaeological samples and data, many experts now believe that the exodus or exodus of slaves led by the prophet Moses in the Abrahamic religions did not actually happen in Egypt at all. There is no evidence of such a departure from Egypt in any archaeological or historical text, nor has any excavation in Egypt yielded any evidence of millions of Israelites leaving Egypt. These experts say that the Exodus took place around 1600 BC, but it was in Israel itself, in the ancient province of Canaan, in the city of Hagar, where the Israelites revolted against their rulers and left their enslaved society.

The cities at that time were city states. The city of Hagar had two levels. One was the upper city on a plateau and the other was the lower city on the plain. The upper city was home to the tyrannical, wealthy, immoral, and arbitrary elite society who were controlled by the Pharaohs of Egypt and whose lifestyle was similar to the Egyptian royal culture. And the lower city was home to the slaves and the poor. In the city of Hagar in Canaan, led by the slave Joshua, they burned the upper city to the ground in a revolution. Under the leadership of the prophet Moses, they not only left the city of Hagar, but also swore to abandon the lifestyle of the wealthy elite. The upper city of Hagar had many Egyptian gods and goddesses. They set fire to them too and swore not to believe in any other idol gods. Experts say from archaeological samples and data analysis that the entire city was burned. All the statues, temples, and palaces were demolished before the fire was lit. Experts have also found that the rebellion and fire occurred twice, the first of which was the Exodus.

Exodus is a very important chapter in the Abrahamic religions. This religious myth of the Exodus of the Prophet Moses actually created a reflection or paradox of the urban elite consumerist life. When the nomads learned agriculture from the Fertile Crescent of Syria and Persia and settled on the banks of the Indus River, they made the goal of life "Sachchitananda" which means "Truth - Consciousness - Happiness" influenced by Ahura Mazda of Zoroastrianism or Brahma of the Vedas Upanishads. The simple meaning of which is that people should walk on the path of truth or knowledge, consciously and joyfully.

Those people, instead of using knowledge to attain the simple truth of life, consciousness and happiness, have used knowledge to acquire wealth, power, competition and enjoyment. They have created palaces, buildings and urban life. Urban society has become a promised land of slavery and helplessness of the common people to the financial power of the rich. This helplessness-creating wealth and power has created a kingdom of distrust, deceit, injustice and oppression and plunder.

The Ahura Mazda of Zoroastrianism or the Brahma of the Vedas Upanishads and from there "Sachchitananda" is a pre-urban, or an open constructive philosophy before urbanization that has transformed us from animal beings into thinking humans. Which will take us from the world of material experience to the world of abstract form. But after the cities are built, it loses its way in the consumerist urban life. Material and enjoyment become the goal of knowledge. Abrahamic philosophy is the anti-life, anti-truth, anti-consciousness, anti-happiness, anti-afterlife control against the injustice, injustice, and oppression that enslaves people.

Let's get back to our story. The heroine of our story does not know all these difficult histories, philosophies and religious stories. Yet she is religious. She deeply believes that someone deep inside will surely listen to her and one day fulfill her wish. She does not seem to be very consciously aware of the psychological slavery and helplessness of modern urban life. She does not seem to take the philosophy of giving up the enjoyment of life and going to the afterlife to enjoy life very seriously. Rather, she will enjoy eating well and living well like everyone else and if she can achieve wealth and influence, she will enjoy it. She is completely opposite to the worldliness that religion tells us to avoid.

I look at her. I think that if I were asked right now to leave everything I have and build a tent or a hut with her in some promised land and live there, I would agree, but she would not agree. Why only me? All the real lovers in the world are willing to leave society and come out of nothingness with their lovers. Many kings have even made a kingdom for such love, but all the lovers want a palace. The example of Abrahamic religions is not liked by girls at all. The reason for this is the welfare of their children. No one wants to take their own children away due to poverty, hunger and hunger.

Seeing me looking at her, the girl said: “You seem to be thinking about a lot of things.”

I said: “Yes.”

The girl said: “What?”

I said: “I am thinking of running away with you.”

The girl said: “Damn, you can’t do it.”

I said: “Yes, I am afraid.”

The girl said: “What are you afraid of?”

I said: “What did you pray for last night, did anyone like it?”

The girl said: “Damn, that is different.”

I said: “What is that?”

The girl said: “Professional”

I said: “Promotion, salary bonus?”

The girl said: “No, I will go out”

I said: “May your wishes come true, it will be very fun”

The girl said: “What fun?”

I said: “I will go abroad to meet you”

The girl said: “Yes, then we will travel, I will go wherever I want to travel, I really like to be together with you and travel day after day without any regrets”

I said: “You can still do that”

The girl said: “No, I can’t, I’m crazy? If I go home after eight in the night, I get angry”

I said: “That’s why I’m saying let’s run away”

The girl said: “I don’t have that courage”

After breakfast, Beara came and said “Sar tea?”

I said “Yes, two, less sugar”

After tea, we will go out for the rest of the day. Let what he wants to do day after day, be true in his life for at least one more day. The reason he likes me so much is that he seems to understand that there is a kind of detachment in me from everything. He himself is a bit like that. I think love is an escape, a mental liberation from all the complexities and responsibilities of the world. Those who do not have detachment in their mind never reach that love even if they get everything. And those who have detachment, even if they get nothing, only the invisible force field of love keeps them alive, inspires them to do good and do something new.

Leaving the restaurant, we start our bikes and head towards Kapasia, floating through the forest as if in the wind. It seems that the religion that the family society has imposed on him is not the religion of the Ahura Mazda of Zoroastrianism or the Brahman of the Vedas and Upanishads, the religion of the bliss of consciousness. Nor is it the religion of the Abrahamic philosophy of being anti-life, anti-urban civilization, anti-luxury, and simplistic, anti-rich life. Even though they themselves are exploited, oppressed, and slaves, people of this era do not dislike the rich society. On the contrary, everyone wants to be rich. A rich life is the goal now. The family society is completely devoted to wealth, power, and luxury. So what is the religion of our society that is imposed on him? That will be in the next episode.
