Ingredients:
200g Nagaimo (Japanese yam)
Cornstarch, as needed
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
[A] 10g butter
[A] 1 tablespoon ponzu soy sauce
Instructions:
① Peel the nagaimo and cut it into bâtonnet (stick) shapes.
② Place the nagaimo in a plastic bag, add the cornstarch, and coat evenly.
③ Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, and arrange the nagaimo in the pan. Once browned on all sides, wipe off any excess oil. Add [A] and simmer until coated. Done!
Serve with chopped green onions on top if desired!
