Unzen Kombu Takana Minced Meat Mixed Rice

 


Ingredients (Serves 2)


- Ground chicken...100g


- Unzen kombu takana...to taste (1-2 stalks) *If you don't have any, you can also use komatsuna (Japanese mustard greens) for this delicious dish.


- Sugar...2 tablespoons


- Soy sauce...4 tablespoons


- Sake...2 tablespoons


- Ginger...1 piece


- Freshly cooked rice...1 cup


Directions


(1) Chop the Unzen kombu takana and finely chop the ginger.


(2) Add the ground chicken, ginger, sugar, sake, soy sauce, and water to a pot, heat, and sauté until the water has evaporated.


(3) Add the Unzen kombu takana to (2) and sauté until the water has evaporated.


(4) Add (3) to the freshly cooked rice and mix.
