The 20-20-20 rule for eye health

In today's digital age, we spend hours and hours in front of screens almost every day. Studying, office work, entertainment, social media—everything is now on the screen. But all this screen time is a big challenge for our eyes. Eye fatigue, dryness, redness in the eyes, headaches, eye strain, blurriness—all are now common problems. These problems can be reduced with a very simple trick.
What is the 20-20-20 rule
20-20-20 is basically a rule for eye protection where every 20 minutes, the practice of looking away from something 20 feet away for at least 20 seconds. This habit helps relax the focusing muscles of the eyes, improves blood circulation in the eyes and keeps the eyes healthy in the long run.

Why is it important
The eye muscles are constantly under stress for a long time near the screen. This results in dry eyes, muscle fatigue, irritation or redness in the eyes. The 20-20-20 rule gives the eyes short breaks, which reduces the risk of digital vision syndrome or computer vision syndrome.
