In Bangladesh, especially in the northern and southwestern regions—such as Kushtia, Jhenaidah, Jessore, Mymensingh—rural women wear hasuli during special festivals, weddings, or dances.
The jewelry that adorns the neck is primarily considered a symbol of strength, femininity, and tradition. Sometimes, Baul and Lalon followers or Palagan artists also wear hasuli, which has become part of their cultural identity.
And, even in the modern world, indigenous jewelry is still a great hasuli for everyone!
