Practicing Islam and establishing it are two completely different things

Not singing is ‘observing Islam’. And not allowing anyone to sing is ‘establishing Islam’. Two different things. Establishing means establishing Islam. Common people do not understand these. When it is said to establish prayers, it means forcing everyone to perform obligatory prayers. And when you perform prayers, it is observing Islam. Just like paying zakat is observing Islam. But if someone refuses to pay zakat, then you have to force it, it is called establishing zakat. During the time of Abu Bakr, when Muslims refused to pay zakat, Abu Bakr sent his general Khalid bin Walid to suppress this rebellion with the sword. Abu Bakr did not sit around hoping that he would be punished in the afterlife for not paying zakat.

In Islam, veiling women is obligatory and doing so means observing Islam. But if a Muslim woman does not want to veil, that is, if she does not want to wear a burqa or hijab, she will be forced to establish Islam. Again, suppose someone thinks that Baul songs are permissible in Islam, that is their idea. They think Islam is like that. But who thought that Islam has nothing to do with it. Islam is not like that, if you listen to music, it is forbidden, so in the afterlife I will pour lead in your ears.... It was right until now. But Islam does not say that. In the afterlife, punishment will be imposed, but Islam must be established on earth. I mean, I will not let you listen to music. I will not let you sing. Islam does not stop by saying that drinking alcohol is forbidden. If it has power, it will destroy liquor shops. Following Islam and establishing Islam are two completely different things and both are part of Islam. This bride and her parents were caned, this is establishing Islam. Everything that you see happening around is part of establishing Islam.

Is there no solution to this? There is. Very simple. The state can do the whole thing very easily. The state will ensure that anyone can practice Islam as they wish, but no one can establish Islam. Because

Bangladesh is not an Islamic state. There is no Islamic law here. Bangladesh runs on secular civil criminal law. So, there is no chance for Islam to establish itself here. Whoever tries to establish it must be arrested under the Criminal Code and brought to justice. If it is an announcement of Islamic rule or the establishment of a caliphate or a future goal of any party, then it is completely prohibited in any democratic state. Because it is talking about overthrowing democracy itself. If the state confirms these, it will not do the music it considers haram to listen to. But if there is a music event somewhere, it will not be able to stop it. There is no problem for someone to observe the veil, but no one can be forced to wear the veil. Now look at the situation, Enayet Abbasi has threatened to kill Farhad Mazhar. Mazhar said in a Facebook post that after Abbasi's threat, he is being threatened to kill her over the phone. In view of this, the post that Farhad Mazhar wrote on Islam is distorted and untrue. A separate post can be written about it. I am thinking about writing it. But no mufti can announce the killing of Farhad Mazhar because this is not an Islamic state. Farhad Mazhar openly supported the mob a few days ago when they were targeting the Awami League. Today, the mob is being incited to kill him. In the end, Farhad Mazhar warned Abbasi by invoking the prevailing criminal law of Bangladesh to save himself. That is, he did not use the excuse of Islam after the stop, but the secular law made by the British! Look, when these extremists first attacked Hindus after the change of power a year and a half ago, you were giving the extremists immunity by calling it a 'political attack'. Meghmalla Basu denied the attacks on his own community live on India's Republic Television. Prothom Alo has called them Indian propaganda. Today, see who those extremists are threatening to kill on the Pala song issue? Will Meghmalla Basu be safe from Azhari Abbasi's cronies? Farhad Mazhar, who supported the 13 points of Hefazat Islam, is trying to apply the same 13 points to him today! Today, Enayet Abbasi got angry with BNP's Mirza Fakrul. However, BNP announced the repeal of all laws against the Quran and Sunnah two days ago to please the extremists. You are demanding the release of Abul Sarkar but not the release of Chinmoy Krishna Das - it means you do not consider Bangladesh to be for everyone. Therefore, those who speak for Abul Sarkar or the Bauls only want the freedom of the Bauls. As a result, those who are now anti-Baul are silent or are opposing, tomorrow they will themselves get stuck in other issues. Because 'Qayem' is terrible fascism. Injustice has not only happened to Abul Sarkar, it has also happened to Chinmoy Krishna. There is still time to want freedom for everyone. For everyone.
