Taro mash

 


[Ingredients for 2 servings]


- 3 taro roots (200g)


- A little dried parsley


- Grated cheese, to taste


<Garlic Cream>


- 1/2 clove garlic (grated)


- 100ml milk


- Salt, to taste


[Preparation]


- Wash the taro root with the skin on, wrap it in plastic wrap while still wet, and microwave for 3 minutes. Turn it over and microwave for an additional 1-2 minutes.


Cook until a bamboo skewer can be inserted easily.


[Directions]


1. Peel the taro root with your hands and roughly mash it with the back of a fork.


If the taro root is hot, wrap it in kitchen paper and peel it.


2. Combine the ingredients for the <Garlic Cream> in a pot and heat over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, add the taro root (1), and simmer.


3. Place (2) in a serving dish and sprinkle with dried parsley and grated cheese.
