Ingredients:
Chrysanthemum greens ... 1 bag (100g)
Carrot
White sesame seeds (black sesame seeds are also OK) ... 1 tablespoon
Sugar ... 1/2 teaspoon
Soy sauce ... 1 teaspoon
Instructions:
Chrysanthemum greens are a type of leafy vegetable that tends to retain soil and dirt, so wash them thoroughly in a bowl of water. Then, blanch them in boiling water for about one minute, starting with the stems and then adding the leaves, before transferring them to cold water.
Lightly squeeze the blanched chrysanthemum greens to remove excess water, then cut them into 4-5 cm pieces. Since more water will come out after cutting, it's important to squeeze out the excess water again thoroughly before mixing with the other ingredients.
Peel the carrot and cut it into thin strips, then blanch it in boiling water.
In a bowl, mix together the ingredients for the <seasoning>, add the chrysanthemum greens and carrots, mix well, and serve in a dish.
