Firm tofu simmered in dashi stock

 


Ingredients:

1 block of firm tofu (approx. 300g)

[A] 300ml water

[A] 2 tablespoons white dashi stock

1/2 teaspoon grated ginger

Scallion (finely chopped)

Directions:

1. Cut the firm tofu into bite-sized pieces.

2. Place [A] in a pot over medium heat and bring to a boil. Add [A] and simmer for 3-4 minutes.

3. Add the grated ginger to [A] and simmer briefly. Once thoroughly combined, turn off the heat. Serve in a serving dish, sprinkle with scallions, and you're done!
