Italian tomato hot pot with plenty of vegetables

 

[Ingredients for 2 servings]


・Canned diced tomatoes: 200g


・Onion: 1/2


・Garlic (sliced): 1 clove


・Sausages: 6


・Scallops (adductor muscle): 6-8


・Broccoli: 1/2 head


・Lettuce: 1/2 head


・Fresh basil: 1/2 pack


・Salt and pepper: to taste


・Parmesan cheese: as needed


・Tabasco sauce: as needed


・Lemon: 1/2


・Olive oil: 2 tablespoons


<Soup>


・Water: 500ml


・Granulated soup stock: 2 teaspoons


・Sugar: 1 teaspoon


[Preparation]


・Roughly chop the canned diced tomatoes.


- Cut the onion into wedges.

- Separate the broccoli into florets.

- Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces by hand.

- Cut the lemon into wedges.


[Instructions]

1. Heat olive oil in a pot and sauté the onion and garlic. Once the onion is softened, add the canned tomatoes and the ingredients for the soup. Once it comes to a boil, season with salt and pepper.

2. Add the sausage, scallops, broccoli, lettuce, and basil to (1), and remove each ingredient as it cooks. Serve with grated cheese, Tabasco sauce, and a squeeze of lemon if desired.
