[Ingredients for 2 servings]
- 1 cup of rice
- 1/2 cup of glutinous rice
- 150g peas (with pods)
- 1 sheet of kelp (5cm cube)
<Seasonings>
- 1.5 tablespoons of sake
- 1/2 tablespoon of mirin
- 1/2 teaspoon of light soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
<Preparation>
- Rinse the rice and glutinous rice together in water at least 30 minutes before cooking and drain in a colander.
- Remove the peas from the pods, rinse quickly, and sprinkle with 1/2 tablespoon of salt (not included in the recipe).
<Directions>
1. Place the salted peas in boiling water, boil briefly, and drain in a colander.
2. Place the washed rice in a rice cooker and add the <Seasonings> ingredients. Add water up to the 1.5 cup mark, add the peas, top with the kelp and switch on.
3. Once cooked, remove the kelp and steam for 10 minutes, then mix with a rice paddle and serve in a serving dish.
