Ingredients:
200g pumpkin
1 tablespoon potato starch
3 tablespoons salad oil
[A] 1 tablespoon soy sauce
[A] 1 tablespoon mirin
[A] 1 tablespoon sake
[A] 1/2 tablespoon sugar
Approx. white sesame seeds
Directions:
1. Cut the pumpkin into bite-sized pieces and place in a heat-resistant bowl. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave for 5 minutes at 600W.
2. Let the pumpkin cool slightly, then coat it with potato starch.
3. Add salad oil to a frying pan and heat over medium heat. Arrange the pumpkin on top and cook. Once golden brown on all sides, wipe off any excess oil, add the ingredients in [A], and simmer until combined. Place on a plate, sprinkle with the white sesame seeds.
