Zakir Naik is doing something even more harmful than inspiring Islamic terrorists to commit terrorism. That is hijacking Allah. Religion, science and history are three different things. He is confusing the mentally limited youth with these three together using electronic media, even those who are innocent and poor. This is the digital Islamic revolution.
No one will deny the contribution of Dr. Abdullah Al Muti to the spread of science education in Bangladesh. After retirement, he often came to my office to discuss various technical issues. One day, he told a story and laughed to himself. The Islamic Foundation will publish an encyclopedia. They have requested Al Muti to edit the science section there. As soon as he opened the first chapter, he saw biology. It says there are three types of life - plants, animals and jinn. Seeing this, he sent the manuscript back. "There are three types of life - plants, animals and jinn" he repeated the sentence again and laughed.
Children have a mental limitation which is that they cannot properly separate the real memories of something from the imaginary memories of something. Even when many people grow up, this limitation is not completely overcome. I have a friend who is a science preacher. He cannot figure out exactly where science ends and where science fiction begins. As a result, I feel very uncomfortable when he talks about science.
Whether it is due to the change in the genetic choice of the bride and groom, or the unrealistic environment of urban children growing up dependent on the unrealistic thoughts of their parents, it seems that the number of people who override fantasy and reality in abstract thinking even in adulthood is rapidly increasing. We either have to think according to religion or science. The history written in any religious book is a mythological past, not history. There is also a method of studying religion, which is Religious Studies. And the knowledge of finding logic in one's own religion is theology - which is always bracketed, that is, it has to be said which religion it is according to.
But what the leaders of Zaker want to do is to extend the history (Islamic myths) told in the Quran and make it history, misleading the young and the uninitiated. No matter how innocent it may seem, this is the strategy of those red flag Marxist extremists. By linking everything in the world to capital and continuously promoting a false philosophy, they create a group of imaginary comrades who will never read basic Marx or even if they read it, they will not understand it. Then they use them to harass the truly intelligent people to create an environment for revolution. Then, when the top of power changes, Banglasthan will be created overnight.
