Ingredients (serves 1):
1 slice of bread (thick-cut, 4-slice loaf)
[A] 1 egg
[A] 40g cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
[A] 2 tbsp heavy cream
[A] 1 tbsp sugar
Instructions:
① Use a spoon or similar tool to press down the center of the bread, creating a hollow well.
② Place ingredients [A] in a bowl and mix until smooth.
③ Pour the mixture from step ② into the well in the bread, then cover the crusts with aluminum foil to prevent burning. Toast for 7–8 minutes until the center is creamy and set. It's ready to serve!
Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
