Ingredients
* Ground chicken (breast)…approx. 300g
* Onion…1/2
* Potato starch…1 tablespoon
* Salt…a pinch
* A Sake…3 tablespoons
* A Mirin…3 tablespoons
* A Oyster sauce (or soy sauce)…3 tablespoons
* A Brown sugar (or white sugar)…a little over 1 tablespoon *If using regular soy sauce, use 1 and 1/2 tablespoons
* Roasted nori seaweed for rice balls…1 sheet, cut into 9 equal parts
* Sesame oil…1 tablespoon
Instructions
1. Put the ingredients from ground chicken to salt into a bowl and mix well until sticky. Divide the meat mixture into 9 equal parts.
2. Shape the 9 portions of meat mixture into rice balls and wrap with nori seaweed. Mix the ingredients for A together.
3. Add sesame oil to a frying pan and place the meatballs from step 2 in it before heating. Heat over medium heat and brown them.
4. As soon as they are browned, flip them over and pour the mixed sauce from A over them. Cover and steam for 2 minutes.
5. Remove the lid, and once the sauce has thickened, it's done!
