Non-fried white fish fillets

 


Ingredients

Cod (fillets)...4 pieces

Pizza cheese...60g

Seasonings used in this recipe

Salt, pepper

Breadcrumbs

Parmesan cheese

Potato starch

Vegetable oil

Mayonnaise

Lemon juice

Coarsely ground black pepper


Preparation

* Pat the cod dry, remove bones, and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

* In a plastic bag, combine 1 cup breadcrumbs, pizza cheese, 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, potato starch, 2 teaspoons water, and 2 teaspoons vegetable oil. Mix well. (A)

* Mix together 3 tablespoons mayonnaise, 2 teaspoons lemon juice, and a suitable amount of coarsely ground black pepper. (B)


Instructions

1. In a plastic bag, combine 2 tablespoons potato starch and 2 tablespoons water. Add the cod fillets and coat them evenly.


2. Spread half of mixture A in a frying pan and arrange the cod fillets with some space between them. Spread the remaining mixture A over the cod and cook over medium-low heat.


3. Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes. Be careful not to burn it by using too high a heat.


4. Using a spatula, cut the batter along the edges of the cod fillets and flip them over. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of salad oil and cook for another 7-8 minutes. Serve on a plate and garnish with mixture B.
