The Ebers Papyrus (written around 1550 BC) is one of the oldest and most comprehensive medical texts from ancient Egypt. It describes more than 700 herbs and medical methods.
It also contains various strange methods for treating various diseases, especially hair loss. For example—
Applying crocodile fat to the head
Using lion blood
Hippopotamus tooth powder
Mule tooth ash
Even mixtures of various animal parts
These were actually part of the medical science of that time, which may seem absurd to today's science, but people at that time believed in them.
