Chicken and carrot stir-fry

 


<Ingredients > 


*Chicken breast... 1 piece (approx. 250g)


*Carrot... 1 (approx. 150g)

└Black sesame seeds, sugar... 1/2 tablespoon each


└Sake, mirin, soy sauce... 1 tablespoon each


Salt, potato starch, salad oil


<Instructions>


1. Cut the carrot into 4cm long, 1cm square sticks. Place the carrot and 1 tablespoon of water in a heatproof dish, cover with plastic wrap, microwave at 600W for 3 minutes, and drain.


2. Cut the chicken breast into 4cm long, 1cm square sticks, sprinkle with a pinch of salt and 1 tablespoon of potato starch.


3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the chicken and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally. Once the chicken changes color, add the carrots and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes. Once the carrots are browned, add ingredients A and stir-fry until glossy.
