Deep-fried bamboo shoots

 


[Ingredients for 2 servings]


- 150g boiled bamboo shoots


- 2 tablespoons potato starch


- Oil for frying, to taste


<Seasoning>


- 2 tablespoons soy sauce


- 1 tablespoon sake


- 1/4 teaspoon grated ginger


[Preparation]


- Cut the boiled bamboo shoots into bite-sized pieces.


- Place the <Seasoning> ingredients in an antibacterial bag, add the boiled bamboo shoots, and let sit for 15 minutes.


[Directions]


1. Drain the water and coat with potato starch. Heat the frying oil to 170°C. Add the bamboo shoots, root end first, and fry until crispy.
