Slice 1/8 of an onion thinly lengthwise. Place 150g of microwave-safe potatoes in a heatproof bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 2 minutes.
Mash the potatoes. Add the onion and 1/2 teaspoon (approximately 35g) of drained canned tuna (in oil), sprinkle with a little freshly ground black pepper, and mix. Once cooled slightly, add 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise and mix. Add 1 tablespoon of shredded perilla leaves and mix briefly.
