[Ingredients (for 2 servings) and Instructions]
Cut 2 slices of bacon (approx. 30g) into 1cm wide strips with kitchen scissors and place in a pot. Add 100g of salted cabbage (see above), 6 cherry tomatoes, a pinch of salt, and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, remove any scum, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Serve in a bowl and sprinkle with a little freshly ground black pepper.
