Fruit Milk Agar

 


Ingredients

* Milk…400ml

* Granulated sugar…120g

* Water…200ml

* Agar powder…6g

* Mandarin oranges…3

* Kiwis…2

* Canned yellow peaches…90g

* Strawberries…100g


Instructions

1. Peel the mandarin oranges and kiwis. Slice the canned yellow peaches and strawberries. Cut the scraps into small pieces.

2. Line the bottom of a cake pan with the fruit, and also line the sides. Chill in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.

3. Put the water and agar powder in a saucepan. Stir with a rubber spatula, and once it boils, reduce the heat and simmer for about 2 minutes until dissolved.

4. Add the granulated sugar and milk (warmed to about 70°C).

5. Gently pour the mixture from step 4 into the chilled cake pan from step 2, filling it about halfway up the fruit on the sides. 6. Add the chopped fruit to the remaining agar mixture and mix. Pour everything into the cake mold and refrigerate for about 3 hours until set.

7. Invert the cake mold onto a plate and remove the cake.
