Chicken and bell pepper stir-fry with ketchup

 


[Ingredients - Serves 2]


Chopped bell peppers (see above)...150g


Minced ginger (see below)...2 teaspoons


Chicken thighs for karaage...250g

∟Tomato ketchup...2 tablespoons


∟Sake...1 tablespoon


∟Soy sauce, oyster sauce...1 teaspoon each


Salt, freshly ground black pepper, vegetable oil


[Instructions]


1. Season the chicken with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper.


2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chicken skin-side down and cook for about 3 minutes on each side. Increase the heat to high, add the ginger and chopped bell peppers in that order, stir-fry briefly, then pour in A and stir-fry together.
