Japanese-style soup with new onions

 


Ingredients: 

Olive oil, bacon, new onion, salt, white dashi, bonito flakes


Instructions:

1. Put olive oil, bacon, and new onion in a pot, sprinkle with salt, and sauté lightly over medium heat.

2. Once the new onion is coated with oil, add water and, once it boils, season with white dashi.

3. Once the new onion is cooked to your liking, transfer to a bowl and sprinkle with bonito flakes before serving.
