[Ingredients - Serves 2]
Microwave-cooked broccoli (see above)...200g
Chicken thigh meat for karaage...250g
Milk...2 cups
Onion...1/4
Salt, pepper, butter, flour
[Instructions]
1. Slice the onion thinly lengthwise. Season the chicken with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and a pinch of pepper.
2. Melt 15g of butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chicken skin-side down and cook for about 1 minute on each side. Add the onion and sauté for about 2 minutes. Sprinkle in 2 tablespoons of flour and sauté for about 1 minute until the floury taste disappears.
3. Add the microwave-cooked broccoli and milk and mix. Once thickened, add a pinch each of salt and pepper and heat through.
