Many people have asked me, what do you understand by fate? Today I want to say something to them. I think fate is a boundary condition. The speed of light is 300,000 kilometers per second, it is not possible for light to cross this limit. Electrons revolve around the nucleus, it is not possible for them to remain stationary. This is the limit of physics. There is a limit in your life too, within that limit you are free. This is your fate. Fate is never written, fate is a computation. Behind everything that is happening in your life today, there is a complex interaction of physics, cosmological constants, DNA, environment, history and your culture, the complex calculation or computation of all these determines your fate. You understand your life not with a “script” but with an “algorithm”. If you were born in 2050, not in 2025, your destiny would have completely changed, you would have received the technology of immortality immediately after birth, your brain would have been connected to the Internet, you would have seen 175 exabytes of data inside your brain. Your birth, family, country, social structure, economic constraints and time determine your destiny. If some cosmic radiation changes your DNA sequence, you will become superhuman, your destiny will completely change. People think there is destiny, because they do not have enough information. A → B → C → D → Result. 99.9% of people never see this causal root. That is where they insert the word “destiny”.
Now the question comes, am I responsible for everything that happens in my life? The actions that you deliberately do bring direct results in your life. Your decisions, your relationships, your work determine your destiny, but it is only 0.00001%. This visible part is very small. It is called your agency. But 80% of the results of your life happen at the subconscious level. Which opportunities will you see, which ones will you miss. Who will you be attracted to, where will you be afraid, what words will hurt you, what actions will you take risks. These happen in your subconscious. When you row a boat in a river, the current determines the movement of the boat, while you row a boat, you only decide which direction to go, its direction. Your role is very small. The most cruel truth is that the things you do not do also determine your destiny. Your not saying, not doing, avoiding, delaying, doubting and stopping ___ actions write the history of your life.
Your life is not 100% under your control—but you are 100% influential. Your contribution is sometimes direct, sometimes indirect, sometimes unconscious, sometimes helpless. The boat is not yours, the current is not yours—but pulling the oars is your habit, your nature. Man cannot change destiny but he can walk within his limits. The boundaries or structure that fate creates in your life, human willpower only creates entropy or chaos against that limitation.
You cannot control everything in the universe. You are just one event among trillions of trillions of events in the universe. But even then, you are also an event among trillions of trillions of events, you are also in the calculation. You are not separate from the system, you are a part of the system. You are an active variable in the universe. What happens in your life is not a script you created. It is a “dynamic probability outcome” of the combined interaction of your physics, biology, neurons, conscious and subconscious minds, environment, genes, chance, behavior and randomness. You see yourself moving—but the universe is calculating through you. Fate sets the boundaries of your life but does not destroy the possibilities of your life. Every decision you make creates a new path for your life. You are an Evolving Algorithm. The data from your experience is constantly updating you. Destiny is not a closed door, it is the art of creating the highest potential within the limits.
As an analogy, imagine that your DNA base is four A, G, T, C. Without these four bases, you cannot create life. This is a boundary condition. Think of it as fate, but with these four limited codes, you can create trillions of trillions of lives, within the limits, you can create unlimited possibilities. Boundaries are important. There are about 20 fundamental constants in the universe, these are the boundaries of the universe. But these 20 constants have created trillions of trillions of galaxies in the universe. And so do not consider fate as weakness because the game of infinity is played within the limits.
